VotM Volunteers Responsibilities
 As a Volunteer you will be responsible to fulfill all of the following expectations:

 1) You will be expected to put in 40 hours per week on a 5 day work schedule.  Outdoor tasks begin at 8AM because of the afternoon rains.  Work days are either 8AM-4PM, 9AM-5PM or 10AM-6PM.

2) You will share in the maintenance and cleaning of the house.

3) You will wash your own clothes, towels and sheets and house towels, etc.

4) You will be responsible for preparing your own food, including lunch to bring with you to your work site.

5) You will responsible for you personal toiletries, expenses (soap, etc...) also for transportation, entertainment, and all expenses connected with any health issues.  

6) You will be expected to problem solve and find equitable solutions to any conflict or issues which arise with other residents of the VotM Volunteer House, VotM staff, etc.

7)  You will be expected to fill in a Participation Sheet on a daily basis to allow the VotM to track time and tasks to make sure that we are utilizing your talents and abilities properly.  

8) You will be expected to have a cell phone, provide the number to Patricia and make sure that you have time on the phone in case of emergencies.

9) You will be required to allow VotM staff to make a copy of the face page of your passport and the page with your entry stamp into Panama to provide proof of your legal status in Panama.

10) You will not use illegal drugs of any sort whatsoever while on VotM premises nor will you store such substances in, on or around the VotM property, grounds, rentals, vehicles etc.  Use of such substances on VotM premises will be reason for immediate dismissal.

11) You will not engage in a private business of any kind involving any members of the VotM community

12) VotM is a non smoking community so smoking is not permitted in any of its facilities, vehicles, etc.
